Told you she was pretty. Of course, Derek is my brother so he must be good looking.
Derek and Cassie did exactly what I think everyone should do for a wedding. It was small, sweet and simple. It was all about them and how much they love each other. No big charade, no stress, just them and the people they care about the most.
These 2 had originally set their wedding date for sometime next year! But they were just itching to be together and couldn't wait any longer! How romantic!
And finally,

Then we all squeezed into the City Hall elevator. And I couldn't resist a photo.
We headed out to the town square in Marietta to take some photos. This next photo I absolutely adore!

We didn't spend too much time out taking photos. Just a few of the new Mr. and Mrs. and some family shots. But I do love the ones we got!
One of my favorite things about this photo, other than how darling the two of them look together, is the little old couple in the background holding hands! It's like looking into the furture for Derek and Cassie, and the little couple in the back reminiscing of their young love which has grown even more so now.

Now, in my experience with weddings, I have never had more fun doing the family photos than I had at my brother's wedding. Maybe because it's my family and we are all awesome. I'm sure that's it!

Cassie has the prettiest natural laugh I have ever seen! Ya know most of us look pretty silly when we laugh. Not Cassie, she looks gorgeous.

But it's ok, cause no matter how stupid we think you are, we are always willing to forget about it.

Once again, my hubby being a bit fruity. He likes that. And it always makes me giggle.

After the picture taking, we went out to eat at Carrabba's. I'm real safe with my foods, aka I'm boring and eat the same thing all the time, so this was the first time I went to Carrabba's. Talk about a different world! hehe. I got to try a bunch of different foods that I have never eatten! It was fun. I ordered the Chicken Bryan and it was sooo yummy!
And there was cake!

I am so unbelievably happy for you two. I always knew that the girl that Derek choose to marry would be a one of a kind girl. He would never settle for anything less. And Cassie, you are that. Thank you for making him so happy.
